Youth Conference

11 - 12 November 2019

The youth conference is open to individuals between 18-25 years old

Come join us for lasting friendships, inspirations from the discussions and shared knowledge across Asia Pacific!

The IAVE Asia Pacific Youth Volunteer Conference provides great opportunity for young volunteers aged between 18-25 years old to connect, share and learn from each other. This conference aims to encourage young participants to exchange their experiences on volunteerism happening in their countries as well as to gain new knowledge and skill which will benefit their future volunteering activities and to foster lasting friendships and collaborative network across Asia Pacific. There will also be ample time to get to know the host country and its rich culture.

The conference program is designed for interactive meetings where young volunteers get to know each other and be proactively engaged. Breakout sessions are provided in the form of workshops, brainstorming activities and open sharing space. Participants can choose to join in the sessions they are related to or interested in. Young volunteers will learn and gain knowledge through analytical thinking, creative and design thinking, inspirational case studies, group reflection, sharing practices, learning from their past experiences and their peer’s. The conference program will also provide a visit to volunteering program at Thammasat University. The university has supported volunteerism for more than 50 years and is by far the most active university on volunteering in Thailand.

The conference will be held from 11-12 November 2019 at Thammasat University (Rangsit Campus). The Rangsit campus, situated on the utility space of more than one million square meters, offers facilities and friendly environment that support learning beyond the classroom which makes it an ideal place for this event.
