Soyeon Lee has worked as a Program Manager in the Seoul Volunteer Center in Korea from 2018 and currently belongs to the Department of Youth Volunteer Program and manages volunteer projects for university students, participating in the tutoring volunteer program called ‘Seoul Dong-haeng’. She is also on duties of designing volunteer projects for foreigners in Seoul and coordinating international partnership projects.
Soyeon holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Welfare. Based on her educational background, she was responsible for international development projects in Education and Healthcare sectors implemented in Sub-Saharan Africa, Ghana, and Bolivia prior to joining the Seoul Volunteer Center. She has experience in working with various partners, such as government officials, UN agencies, community leaders and members, and volunteers.
