Sujata Bhandari is a committed development professional. She holds a Master’s Degree in Rural Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies. She is an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the non – profit organization management industry. She has strong professional skills in Humanitarian Response, Public Health, Social Exclusion and Gender, DRR, WASH, Livelihood, Education, Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Protection and Rural Development. She has a great passion for volunteering for development. She contributed immensely by volunteering as an emergency relief worker and trauma counsellor for the April 2015 earthquake affected. She volunteered with VSO in one of the most remote districts in Nepal in 2016. Since then she has volunteered at squatter settlements and orphanages as a tutor for the children. Due to her keenness in volunteering she undertook the research on ‘Prospects and Constrains of volunteerism for Rural Development’ for her Master’s Degree.
