A medical professional turned social impact leader, Dr. Teh is highly passionate in changing lives and continues to seek for a purposeful life. A trainer and community worker, he works with youths and underserved communities of a diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Teh has over 18 years of experience working in various social purpose organisations focusing on youth empowerment, peace-building and community development. In 2004, he led an entourage of 30-youth delegation to the conflict hotspot in Jerusalem for Middle East Peace Initiative. In 2010, Dr. Teh founded a regional youth programme – the ‘Global Peace Volunteers’ which has engaged thousands of youth in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Nepal into volunteering for social good.
Dr. Teh has spoken at various conferences as an advocate for intercultural peace, youth empowerment and development for indigenous communities. He spoke at the 2015 International Young Leaders Assembly at the United Nations, New York and recently at the 2019 International Humanitarian Conference.
Dr. Teh is currently the CEO of Global Peace Foundation Malaysia.
