Biography

Dr. Judy Esmond has been a leading International Expert of volunteerism for over 20 years. She is in-demand speaker presenting to 1000s of conference attendees. Touring globally, she has also presented her innovative ideas in 100s of workshops and held academic positions in 3 universities being currently based at Curtin University. Dr. Esmond is the author of the best-selling volunteering books – Count Me In! 501 Ideas on Recruiting Volunteers and Count On Me! 501 Ideas on Retaining, Recognizing and Rewarding Volunteers. She has been awarded numerous research grants with the first study worldwide on Baby Boomers and Volunteering, the largest study into Volunteer Motivations, a major study on Faith Based Volunteers in Disaster Welfare and the first longitudinal study into the Future Attraction, Support and Retention of Emergency Management Volunteers.
