Carlo Garcia, Ph.D. is currently the Executive Director of Miriam College Environmental Studies Institute in the Philippines. His areas of expertise include environmental education, public policy, program administration, community development and volunteer management. He obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Education from Miriam College Philippines and his Master in Public Administration major in Public Policy and Program Administration from the University of the Philippines. For twenty years, he has been a volunteer evaluator of colleges, universities, and non-governmental organizations in the Philippines. He also worked as a human rights volunteer and social development volunteer in various marginalized communities.
